Many of the sound files on the website come from Shy
Eagle's Cherokee Language Program 1. This language
notebook and audiotape covers basic words (e.g., months, days,
numbers) and introductory words and phrases, as well as pronunciation
and grammar tips. The materials reflect a mixture of the Kituwah
and Western dialects. Cost $25.00 plus $4.95. Proceeds from
the sale of these language books will be donated to the Echota
Tribe. Anyone who cannot afford the full price, should check
