Mental Health Wellness Resources for Employees

In an effort to support the mental health wellness of Auburn University employees, the University Staff Council has initiated this website. It includes links to numerous resources, including several that are based on campus. These resources can be utilized by full-time employees. University Human Resources is partnering with Staff Council by housing this page on the UHR website.

Uprise Health

NEW!: Uprise has launched an app with digital resources, including information on coaching, a wellbeing assessment, and more. 

Uprise administers Auburn's Employee Assistance Program and offers counselors and resources to assist with marital and family issues, alcohol and other drug dependency, stress-related issues, emotional problems, and financial/legal referrals.

Safe Harbor believes, supports, and assists employees and students of Auburn University who have experienced any form of sexual or interpersonal violence, including dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.

Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Title IX Office

The Title IX office provides support and resolution options to staff, faculty, and students for various types of sexual discrimination and misconduct.

Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The 988 Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.

Free, confidential online screenings are offered through their mental health information page.  You don't have to be a veteran to access online screenings.

Screenings include depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and alcohol use. 

Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA)

The Alliance provides free confidential screenings for depression, anxiety, mania and childhood mania through their online screening center.

Mental Health America (MHA)

MHA offers free, confidential and anonymous mental health tests for depression, anxiety, work health, addiction and more, plus guidance for those unsure of which test they should take.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
