Most data-centric programs offer an emphasis on computer science or business analytics. This is a joint program with the both Auburn’s College of Sciences and Mathematics and the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering that covers the entire spectrum from fundamentals to hands-on applications. Each student has an opportunity to complete a capstone project with an industry leader.

Program Options

This interdisciplinary program has two options:
- The Data Engineering option is administrated by the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.
- The Data Science option is managed by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
