In 1826, physicist Michael Faraday founded the Children's Christmas Lectures at London's Royal Institution. His goal was to communicate to children the excitement of scientific discovery. As physicists, we want to pass on our awe of scientific discovery to all "children" (ages 5 to 105). As such, we invite you (and be sure to bring your non-physicist friends) to come out and share in the awe of some great physics demonstrations that are routinely used in our introductory physics courses to engage and promote student learning.
