Details: Speaker: Michael Brown Title: Minimal resolutions of differential modules (part 3) Abstract: In my previous two talks this semester, I described a notion of minimal free resolutions for differential modules. In this talk, I'll describe some results concerning the structure of finite rank minimal free resolutions in this setting, and I'll discuss how they relate to conjectures of Buchsbaum-Eisenbud-Horrocks and Avramov-Buchweitz-Iyengar on the total rank of finite free resolutions. This is joint work with Daniel Erman. |
