Why? This series has been created off of graduate student input derived from the student town hall last spring. These lunch a learns will serve a building block for teaching success as a GTA in the geosciences. In other words, you asked for it, we delivered it.
What? In this session of Geo EdVenture: Learning Landscapes we will be focusing on the backwards design method. In addition to learning the main principals of backwards design, you will begin to implement it in your own class. You will be active during this workshop so please come prepared to have fun and participate. There will be a free working lunch provided.
