The SERC Story

The Southern Educational Robotics Conference (SERC) has served educators and administrators across the Southeast since 2019, providing a space for the robotics community to collaborate and learn. Initially founded as a VEX Robotics Conference, SERC became the first and only multi-platform educational robotics conference in the country in 2020, seeing the need to expand beyond a single platform and allow teachers from all backgrounds and situations to come together around the shared evolution of educational robotics regardless of what platforms teachers and administrators have available. SERC now hosts a diverse group of educators of many backgrounds that share both general concepts to be used in education across platforms as well as deeper dives into implementing specific platforms into your school's curriculum.

Join the Forefront of Robotics Education

SERC is the place to join the front of the charge in implementing cutting-edge technologies and strategies for STEM Education in the south. Meet and engage with leaders in the world of educational robotics who are eager to share the latest vision of tomorrow’s robotics classroom. SERC also fosters engagement with your local education community from the regional-level to state-level, all the way down to within your school. By engaging with both industry leaders and your local community, you can grow individually into an effective, confident educator as well as share and collaborate ways to implement the tools you learn at SERC in your own local environment. Building a strong STEM Education community is a key to making the south a leader in STEM Education.
