Research and Teaching Interests
Mrs. West is the department's principal administrator/instructor/advisor in its Clinical Laboratory Sciences division (Laboratory Technology and Medical Technology baccalaureate programs) and also is the Department's Outreach Coordinator and Advisor coordinator.
She has also served as the faculty advisor for the National Honor Society for Medical Technology (Lambda Tau) for the last 20 years with the Auburn chapter winning the Most Outstanding Chapter in the nation more than 10 times and having the Most Outstanding Student of the Year be awarded to one of her students more than 10 times.
Mrs. West has served as the Department Scholarship coordinator for awards to be given out in Spring of each year at the annual Chemistry/Biochemistry awards banquet.
