I am a professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University.  I am also currently the chair of the Faculty Senate of Auburn University and served as the Director of Statistics Program from 2008-2010 for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University.  Previously, I was on the faculty of Department of Mathematics  at Cukurova University in Turkey from 1992-2003.  

I received  B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics at Ankara University in Turkey and Ph.D. degree in Statistics from School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University Sheffield in the United Kingdom
